i vaguely remember this was queried and discussed sometime ago. i recall someone mentioned that people are able to buy using credit card via jin, instead of having have to open an account, transferring and making sure theres cash in the account to be able to make a purchase. so people pay for the convenience i guess. i havent personally checked this, just from recollection of previous discussion
