Thanks for your creative and misleading suggestions and extrapolations.
I said
"As a committed GCN holder,in hindsight it may have been better if it had not distributed 135 mill to shareholders beyond the $2000 threshold.... GCN holders in receiving a free lunch may miss out on the banquet when the issued no of cards gets underway and fees from transactions which they get a clip on.
let me say this
One and not the only one reason for GCN holders to get a free lunch was to help P1 who then had a expedited program for listing get their shareholder spread. ASX demands any shareholder to have $2000 worth at listing...yes there has been a lot more water under the bridge since than.
R Li in his ultimate wisdom sought to pass on the consideration of 135 mill shares to its qualified shareholders. ( entitlement at 55k at 30c is just over $2000)
What I am saying is it IMHO if GCN had kept all 135 mil,then the future listing would not be crunched in the first few days but angry GCN/P1 holders. GCN would have
asset on listing of over $40m.In this case would LONG TERM shareholders be better off
If you read the prospectus in detail you will see many vendor and original investors holdings will be escrowed.
Look at TUP now Mkt Cap approx 1 Bill with limited no listed.
The question it begs if P1 follows this model would GCN holders be better off.
