He's back here! To attend to the video contest? It seems not.

"Jermaine Jackson, brother of late pop icon Michael Jackson, is looking at building a hotel in WA and has visited the East Perth power station as a potential site."

"Details of the scope of Jackson's plans are unclear . . ."

    No, really?

"It is unknown how the joint venture would fund a hotel in Perth."

Oh dear! I would have thought that GCN, as holders of a 20% interest in the project, would be shelling out 20% of the capital - otherwise GCN is the spare proverbial at a wedding.

"It is not the first time Jackson, 58, has made a foray into Perth. In 2000, he struck a joint venture with since-defunct computer games retailer Games 'R' Us."

Needless to say, that failure was a once-off financial misjudgment - I hope.

Jackson said: "I am absolutely delighted to have GoConnect joining us in this emotional journey."

That gives me a warm cuddly feeling inside.

Are we paying this guy fees as our new director? Or is our giving him absolute delight, on his emotional journey, a sufficient and untaxable reward?
