You guys really should lighten up. (grow up?)

I for one can watch the burning of the Australian flag without feeling the depth of emotion that is contained within this post.

Australia is an culture shared by some 20 million people, it has been formed by immigration,alliance,inheritance (political and legal systems) and enviroment the result being a platform 2nd to none in relation to personal freedom and quality of life.

This platform should be able to foster patience, tolerance, honesty, confidence, a lack of emotions arising from fear,greed and the like.

To have such a reaction to the burning of a peace of cloth shows that while the platform is taking shape we have not benefited from it existence.

If we are truly self confident of our place in the world and understanding of the agenda's of others why should this bother you?
