technically they probably have breached the rules. slap on the wrist stuff in the hope of getting a resignation. they may even argue that the govt viewing of the information was not a breach because the govt had board representation? this does not help telstra get reductions in regulation thats for sure. even though they are different things, telstra will come under even more control from govt bodies. i think if it melts from here, i will buy in weakness. good luck.
