Let's put some context here, Vale shipped 68 million tonnes last quarter which is roughly 270 odd million tonnes per annum give or take. For the cost and effort to start up a 1 million per annum mine why would you even consider it? Just mine an additional couple hundred thousand out each month and be done with it.
I did an autonomous haulage trial back in 2013 and our target was 1m just for the trial. Only small fry will look at this and then they may not have the infrastructure to support it.
