I live in hope that MD Martin will do what he did in acquiring the Maria Victoria tenement so as to expand the Olaroz project area for both Mt Cattlin and James Bay. I realise that Martin says he expects there is heaps more lithium to be discovered on the existing James Bay block but with some selective buying surely they can turn the James Bay project into of regional scale. Anyway some idle musings on a mid-week holiday.

This map I've snipped from a recent presentation by Lithium One Metals gives detail of of a couple of Allkem's neighbours at James Bay. Like no doubt lots of the some 490 companies prospecting for lithium in Canada Lithium One is currently in the process of grabbing as much land as it can. One of the half dozen or so blocks it has gathered has a portion right next to Allkem. A bit hard to see but those are dots on the Lithium One block which signify boulders of spodumene whereas most of the other marks are tiny squares which signify spodumene outcropping. Apparently Lithium One does not know where those boulders came from and they may have transported there. Lithium One Metals is a tiddler, with a market cap of only C$19m. The other neighbour identified, Medaro Mining Corp, is even smaller, with a market cap of only C$10m.

Another land accumulator based on nearology, Brunswick Exploration, has an option on 90% of a block called Anatacau adjoining Allkem's property but I cannot track down a map showing Anatacau relative to JB. Brunswick's market cap is C$154m. I will attempt to track down who the other neighbours are.

Also of interest from the graphic below is that Patriot Battery Metals, of Corvette fame, has a smallish block that directly adjoins the south east corner of the James Bay block. I might give myself an assignment to track down who the other neighbours are. I just think that Allkem is almost perfectly positioned to act as a regional consolidator in its part of the James Bay region.
