It's the regulatory framework which all companies mining in the Quebec region have to abide by, so not limited to AKE. They are not just working with IAAC but with various stakeholders, including the First Nations, and regulatory agencies who have a say.
Have a look at how long others ( like Rose Lithium, which got their approval last year ) took from when the project was first proposed to when they got their environmental approval. Galaxy Lithium Canada / AKE is near the end stage.
