@yoltInvesting in biotech and mining exploration is very similar, and difficult. Only 1 in 100 are successful. The ones that are not successful end up exactly as you describe. No cash, no assets and mass dilution. Many ‘shell companies’ are found in these sectors for a reason. The very LT investors in ANP would understand how you feel.
If you only back 1, ie either KZA or ANP, chances of success are low and chances of ending up bitter and twisted are high like we witness on these threads daily.
Professional investors have a portfolio of specs so they have higher chances of success and importantly can manage their emotions and move forward positively even after repeated losses.
Timing is everything.
JG’s role at ANP is not one of a traditional CEO like he had at KZA. He is primarily here to run Investor Relations. The Chair, Charmaine, runs the show. Andrew McKenzie, is running the trial. Anthony is running the corporate relations.
On delays and cost blowouts.. ANP’s trial has already experienced delays as well.. we had an earthquake in Turkey putting us back 3 months and the board of 1 hospital in Melbourne delaying sign off on our trial (even though it had all regulatory approvals, all now sorted).. many things can delay mining and biotechs when dealing with 3rd parties, and natural disasters!!! We have a world class team and funding and still we suffer from delays.
