I am afraid you must be living in a different world to me. Whilst some wives do support her husbands during difficult times eg Derryn Hinch, it is definitely not a 'given'. Some use the opportunity to 'sink in the boot'.
But I think, in this case, Tania has allowed her emotions to overwhelm her rational train of thought.
