speculative stocks get smashed more than blue chips, is it a good time to buy, see hte problem is there arent many buyers around and lots of panicked sellers so if theres no buy depth and those sellers want out the price just keeps dropping until they decide to slow or buyers start bidding the price up - simple supply and demand metrics at work - u may want to visit wikipedia or do some reading on how markets work during bear markets
