@showmethe$$$: I'm not an expert or even an amateur, just a lazy observer, but after some casual reading my (very weak) understanding is that the SP seems to have fully priced in a lot of weather based events as a 100% given, and that these weather events will definitely boost yields in USA as a 100% given, and that there will also be commercial quality yields on top of this from excess planting done 3 years ago as a 100% given and as a result of all these things happening at the same time the almond price will drop further, and that growing conditions in AU have been less than ideal for next harvest and therefore the potential earning ability of company is going to be lower, much lower.
Which would normally cause you to take a step back but management seem to reasonably positive about this FY, and with all that adversity already priced in there seems to be an opportunity here.
