When you watch those that attend a Trump rally, you start to understand that HC pro-Trump posters are very unlikely as a whole to retract themselves from their strongly held position no matter what facts are put in front of them. It's become part of their identity and too uncomfortable to now think their allegiance was given to someone that has blatant lied and manipulated them (continuously). You only have to watch the interviews and their reactions to fundament facts presented about 6 Jan - "no I don't know what happened on that day", "it was BLM" and also "the FBI" who where their to cause choas for Bidden certification. When told the the Att General Barr and his daughter confirmed it wasn't stolen and not voter fraud - :"His be paid off", "That doesn't even look like his daughter in the interview"

What is also curious is this exact same denial and deflection phenomena is happening for pro-Trump supporters in the UK

One interesting thing that will no doubt being contributing to the extent of misinformation and viral spread of conspriacty theories is that a majority of these people get their news from social media platforms. Even when asked what that thought about the fact checking highlighting it was false they didn't believe the fact checkers themselves. Hard nut to crack. Will be interesting to see what DOJ now does or doesn't do
