Tere was a reference on the tranocean site about the contract beginning Jan 9 (not sure if that is leavign port, on site, or spudding by then).
Another current thread has someone from COP saying 'mid-Jan'.
So 6-8 weeks and the mechanical bull that it KAR while drilling should be in motion.
A couple of months later when Santos starts drilling as well, it wont be for the squeamish.
