If anyone is interested in the software

FCHARTS Pro was used in the MCE/MQG vid. It is the one I use for rough analysis, and 90% of my work. Fcharts Standard Edition is free but comes without the pitchfork tool (you still get the fib grid and the lines). Pro costs about $150 I think and gets you better drawing tools, a market scanner and a trade back tester. If you decide to get pro, mention HC and me. I am trying to get the programmer (simon) to improve the pitchfork drawing tools in the next version.

Chart Overlay is a specialist pitchfork drawing tool (with MMs etc) that is overlayed on some other charting software. It allows me to download a chart from PaulBooma or Ten, and then draw pitchforks all over it. It is about $80 from omniumsoftware. I use it constantly, over the top of web iress in particular, for intraday trades on Australian equities. It is the one with the big klunky tool bar

The saxo bank platform which you see me using occasionally is branded as FP Global from First Prudential Markets. It is what I use for Index, futures and commodity trading. It is very good for intra day stuff.

Advanced Get (Gann Elliot Trader) is a very good, highly accurate tool if you know what you are doing. As with all precision tools, it is a bit difficult to use, and you have to know what you are doing.

Every now and then you will see me use stockcharts, from www.stockcharts.com when I want to have a go at something a bit esoteric, like the US dollar index, or the US housing index.

For screen captures and graphic manipulation, I use Picpick, and for the vids I use screencast o matic
