It was most recently mentioned in that "The Rig" magazine article spruiked by WHL (and therefore implied as being accurate), and was, I believe, also widely reported in the press at the time of signing the LOI (AFR, The Aus). I don't think it was announced explicitly by WHL in any release.
Given that the LOI negotiations would be exclusive, if it was true then, then it is true now.
