I am actually a supporter of uranium mining and nuclear power, but the fact remains, a serious problem at a nuclear reactor, is a potential disaster for a lot of people over a large area for a long time. Thats why lessons need to be learnt from these incidents to future proof as much as possible nuclear power, particualy in areas such as Japan, China and India, which are prone to extreme siesmic activity. To say the reactors are largely unscathed after this event will be a blessing, to believe this is a fact after the news coming out of Japan indicates otherwise is just Folly, again, I sincerly hope they can get this situation under control, because clearly they are not out of the woods yet.
