“I think the Japanese are sending a very pointed message to Australia,”he told Sky News host Paul Murray.

Mr O’Brien said Japan’s energy security is at stake if Australiacontinues to go down the path that Prime Minister Anthony Albanese is takingthe country.

“We are going down the wrong path, it is going to end in tears and Ithink the Japanese know it."
