Hopefully, western governments get their act together. They have known the issues around lack of ex-China critical minerals supply for years. If they'd been more proactive this wouldn't be an issue. SYR case in point - struggling with getting finance (w auditors showing concern about it being a going concern!) and manufacturers not incentivised to use ex-China material (deferral of tariffs).
