Early days. Should not get too concerned. Uranium sector may take short term hit but so much depends on the seriousness of the situation. Cant rely on the sensation mongering media. The International Monitoring Agency says there is a low grade risk so that is reassuring. Should a Chernobyl situation occur, then that would be a death blow for Uranium but this seems unlikely at this stage.

Longer term, it will probably fade rapidly from the public mind if the problem is dealt with effectively. These were old technology plutonium reactors an due to be mothballed. New reactors will be much safer and constructed with disaster management in mind.

The world is a very different place compared with Chernobyl in 1986. Climate change issues dictate a move to nuclear power generation and there is no other realistic option.

What to do? I have a few hundred thousand shares and plan to sit tight. The share price is very low at the moment and I dont think AGS will be greatly hit.
Who knows. Sad time for the Japanese..
