That is what Europe tends to do in their approvals - they get the US FDA to do all of the work (and they certainly have with QFN). It was a bit surprising the Japanese have not approved it when they had the early studies and experience and they so love this sort of technology. My bet is on a flow on approval in the next 6-8 weeks.
