Haven't heard from you in a while...


Having had a look, looks to me like the russians have a long way to go to get their production anywhere near making up for the projected increase in Demand (Juk's graph). Let alone making up the core production from the chinese walking away. They also have quite different REE mix and produce an unrefined carbonate, still requiring downstream processing.

So in summary IMO, they are no competition in the short term, remember the guts of what was announced on friday by the chinese is that Bao, which supplies a large proportion of world production will likely not be available in the near to medium term as the chinese want to keep their REE's for themselves. Also with 1.6 trillion of froeign currency reserves, they hadly need the export dollars either.

All just IMO.
