Yes good points mate.
SILEX is certainly not proven it can be commercialised as discussed previously - but neither was electricity, nor the motor vehicle so there has to be a first time for everything. And I understand you hold concerns re the quality and ability of the lasers in the engineering scale-up. However, based on the company announcements I do not share these concerns. And it would appear that the DOE does not concern itself with this either.
Good U was my way of saying uranium which might be separated and extracted from the nuclear waste and able to be reprocessed and reenriched. Don't mind me CJ - I tend to use my own terms for the sake of reader interest and simple readability. As stated, I don't know if this is possible - but I dare say the no-one here can prove otherwise - so I will simply stand by the remark.
