Spot on!! Nothing to worry about here.... Focus on the countries that are growing....not those that are dead in the water like Japan and France. China and India have more new reactors in planning than those countries have today. Anyway, Japan has no alternative......low emission generation is too expensive and unreliable for such a large economy...so the only alternative they have is gas...which is too carbon intensive, so there will be no change there. Don't believe the tree-huggers...you can't run an economy on windmills. And France currently provides profitable shortfall power to half of Europe, so they won't jeopardize those dollars...and if they do then UK will step in with similar capacity. These are just Left wing governments making a few political statements for survival.
