You are generally spot on, Michael with your infrastructure comments. Are there more specific reasons to prompt your statement at this time?
Presumably they are not after racing infrastructure such as Flemington. (Tracks being more reliable than horses.)
Why would Chinese private enterprise not seek the same long term investments here? They certainly make frenzied attempts to buy up (new) luxury unit property in Sydney.
