japanese sub proposal

well imo we are really getting close to making a very smart decision on the new subs,german proposal very good because its a german proposal and built in australia,now the japanese proposal to jv australia in developing new steels in australia,hydrodynamics ,apparently new engines from somewhere,improved stealth etc but apparently they want to assembly them but they have increased the australian content imo seems to be at a level we could maintain them and obviously that needs to be a condition, not forgetting we need their current technology for the larger sub.

and a new collins simply to much R&D and from scratch being a larger boat.
anyway it interests me.
ps seems to me we are making some good decisions in the army land 400 $12 billion contract and hopefully the new subs,hmm the JST ?,really why aren't we being sold the raptor?.
