Nobody has answered my query on how core temperatures continue to rise once U rods removed/graphite rods inserted.
Anyway, I don't think this is a big deal if you put things in perspective.
If the Japanese can deal with the after effects of Little Boy and Fat Man, then I expect they can deal with a little radioactive steam?
