Yes its getting a bit complicated these days. Clearly accumulation at work as you say. No announcements, spot price up but last week's news. gotta be good old buying pressure. There is still a lot of pent up but so far restrained positive sentiment behind EXT. Cant' remember the last $7-$8 stock that went up over a buck on no real news like we did the other day. I don't sense shorters so much these day either. Today's market almost feels like normal open register trading!
Irrespective of whether we get a TO/OT agreement JV/merger or what ever, we are just around the corner from (arguably) the most impactive PFS in U-history, the long-awaited and potentially huge resource upgrade (they own all the bloody rigs in Africa right now, and they're all working for us), and revelations about who's putting their money where their mouth is. IMHO its the latter driving or at least stabilising the SP at the moment. Up 16 cents towards close, no big numbers on the sell side...interesting
