Yes the plant based food in Jatcorps main market, China is taking off as well. Even the Chinese government has been is in on this and intends to be the global leader in plant based meat substitutes. A shortage of real meat will assist as well.

It seems Hangzhou JAT Vmeat products have a ready market in China. I think Jatcorp's choice of producing product in China for the China market is a good one.

"By producing the PBM in China, JAT will increase profit margins, reduce costs, avoid delays, mitigate political uncertainties and meet China’s strict food hygiene code."

The current Jatcorp focus on the large restaurant chains as a market is probably a good choice as well.

Jatcorps first sales to the Shanghai Godly Vegetarian restaurant chain should only be the start.

They have not forgotten the Australian made Vmeat products either with this from the Vmeat announcement.

"JAT is also working with distributors in Korea, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Jordan and the UAE to export its plant-based meat products into those potential markets with the assistance of Austrade and the Victorian State Government, subject to import permits and labeling requirements being met.

Vmeat will be a big part of Jatcorps growth story in the next few years by the look of it.
