The market markers aren’t very smart people either. They are just like the casino though in that they have more money and play with large amounts of corporate funds that aren’t their own. They can push the market around to control it and with that most small investors lose everything over time. Sometimes you’ll make some money at the start and you’ll think you’re a legend and it’s the route to riches but over time like a casino, the house always wins and you will lose more times than you win.
if you have to invest on the ASX it’s best to stick to the ASX200 where it can’t be bullied as easily by only one fund or market maker and preferably stocks that pay a dividend.
