I did some shopping today at Aldi and they had some plant based patties and sausages, so tried the patties.
Hope JAT has better quality as although they kind of looked like sort of but not really like beef patties, they certainly didn't taste anything like them.
At over $4 for 100grams I won't be buying them again.
Even if they were a tenth of the price. They were actually yuck!
Like dried baked beans without the sauce. I added cheese and avocado to try to disguise the flavour.
I don't expect they were tried in any chain restaurant for review.
JAT have beef, chicken, pork and lamb varieties so I expect there has been much more r&d in theirs and seem to be welcomed by Shanghai Godly chain.
Wonder when we will get to taste them here?
