Jaxsta provides the data only.
There are plenty of willing buyers of this data that will use it as the basis of their modelling for:
Valuing back catalogues
Signing / re-signing artists
Developing future music investment strategies
Predicting what people will listen to, how often, and where
Designing and placing ad campaigns
Promoting artists and music
Etc.
This technology is available now and with the money involved, you can guarantee it will be used.
