With the rapid growth of music streaming, it's caught the industry out somewhat.

Artists are starting to realise the need for the accurate recording of their credits if they want to get paid for their work.

The quality of data held by music companies is pretty average - evidenced by the many duplicates and errors we see even now in Jaxsta.

It's the artists responsibility to 'clean their credits' and it's interesting that music companies aren't directing these artists to Jaxsta to do this as Jaxsta feeds corrected data back to the data providers. Perhaps this will happen in time?

On another note, we're now seeing creatives uploading directly to DSPs whereby removing the music companies altogether.
It will be interesting to see how these credits are captured.

These are a couple of the issues slowly being recognised by the music industry.
Jaxsta is ahead of it's time in what it has achieved.
Its ideally positioned to be a 'source of truth' for the industry.

As it becomes better known, we'll see that tipping point where it takes off.
We just have to be patient and exclude unnecessary distractions (looking at you nanny5)
