You apparently live in a dream world. The power was cut by a severe weather event now becoming much more frequent due to climate change.

The transmission towers if you bothered to notice were knocked down so it would not have mattered from where the power came from.

The reality is that due to climate change old infrastructure is now less likely to withstand the more frequent and more severe storm events. But your narrow minded politically motivated approach won’t acknowledge this. However, I delight in being able to challenge your approach and to expose the flawed basis of the politically motivated rants on this forum. Most people will not be fooled.

The country will have to invest heavily in infrastructure for the future that will withstand the ferocity of nature given rampant climate change. However, it must be done in conjunction with reducing emissions that impact climate change otherwise it will become even worse. The minority of narrow minded and don’t kid yourself, you are a minority, that don’t accept the need to tackle climate change scream loudly but won’t prevail.
