The best indication that South Australia lost power due to its disasterous renewable energy policy is that as soon as they turned on the mothballed gas powerstation, electricity was restored to 90% of the population.
The windmills didn't work, they powerline bringing in 60% of the dirty coal electricity failed, and there was nothing else generating power. Hopefully other States learn from this before proceeding down dogmatic State power security policy blind alleys. Too late for Tasmania though, they also rely on Dirty Dan's dirty coal to keep operating.
