i found the verdict puzzling especially considering some of the findings of the royal commission but wonder why many of the management were'nt similarly charged
a greater emphasis was placed on quotas above that of care,
there was an air of taking a diminished level of care on recovering patients rather than administering none - the royal commission declared this to be unacceptable,
there were more than 20 complaints but there was no register and no procedure for documenting them and no investigation of any complaint made,
at no stage was patels skills peer reviewed which went against hospital and govt guidelines.
these are only a few of the problems that were highlighted by the rc but surely beatty, bligh and the heads of the health dept should have also have been placed in the dock
