Thanks for the info earlier
Hope your exam went well. I have been doing some reading on CFD's and they do look rather interesting. No expiry dates means no worries re eroding time value on options. Are CFD's as easy to trade as they sound or is there hidden traps?
I also take note that you mentioned spreads and straddles for options but I was wondering if the same could apply for CFD's eg could I open a short position say on BHP with a tight stop loss and at the same time go long and vice versa.
I also note that there is interest charged for positions held for more than a day. How much does this affect you (monetary)holding a position for longer periods - say 30 days. Is this viable or does the interest cost become too much absorb.
Sorry if I sound unedjumicated on this matter and I don't want you to spend too much time on teaching me. I just want the basics and more importantly an opinion from someone who is currently trading CFD's and can give me a comparison between them and Option trading. The rest of the research I will do myself.
Once again thanks in advance.
Cheers
