They were on the shelf in a northern Brisbane Bunnings i went to last week. They even had a display (marketing) board above the shelves spruiking LifX, Hue and two others from memory. These boards discussed the attributes of the various brands, showed the apps, and colour ranges etc etc. Also pointed out that Hue required a bridge whereas Lifx worked directly off wifi.

Lifx product was actually on the shelf, whereas Hue was actually 'product cards' you needed to take to a counter somewhere presumably to exchange for the actual product.
