GSJBW and their clients were net-sellers from Jan to the end of Oct during which point GSJBW had a 'hold' recommendation on each.
Between Nov 1 and 3 days ago, GSJBW (which still had a 'hold' on both) became net-buyers.
The recommendation was today changed from 'hold' to 'sell'.
We won't know for another 3 days if this has changed the way they and their clients are trading.
I wouldn't read too much into this... it's just comical that when they say 'hold' they are actually net-selling, then all of a sudden net-buying just before recommending a 'sell'.
I'd say it's less about manipulation and more about them and their clients not taking notice of their own research.
