"Ord Minnett client adviser Tony Catt said iron ore stocks had been enjoying a bull run recently and base metals prices were also up strongly in offshore markets.

Jubilee Mines was riding high after some good nickel drilling results, he said.

"If WMC Resources does get taken over Jubilee becomes the next big nickel play," Mr Catt said."
