Who here is acquainted with the takeover of JDV by IWL?

Today, IWL issued a replacement Bidder's statement to which JDV has replied "TAKE NO ACTION".

Etrade is a company which has come along way in this competitive marketplace and clearly, it has achieved a robust balance sheet over the past 12 months.

But, the marketplace remains highly competitive with the main competitor being commsec so their (ETR)growth strategy ABSOLUTELY DEMANDS that they takeover other players in the marketplace within the next 12 months.

ETR have confirmed that they could increase their customer account base significantly without placing any demands on their existing infrastructure.

And here we have JDV REPEATING in their announcement to the market this morning that "It is important for JDV shareholders to note that the JDV Board is devoting its full attention to maximising shareholder value. The Board has held the view for some time that consolidation in JDV's industry sectors could deliver synergies that would create significant value for JDV shareholders. JDV continues to progress meaningful discussions with other interested parties, although it is difficult to predict the likely outcoe of those discussions."

IMO, we will see Etrade (ETR) make a move here within the next 10 trading days.
