I would agree, but not to the nth degree, as it certainly doesn't translate to 3rd world countries where poor hygiene is not helpful.

However, I reckon a cleanliness obsession can lead to lower immunity, as can an otherwise protected lifestyle. Advertising has a lot to answer for!

It is well known that GPs generally have very good immunity because of their constant exposure to all the bugs going around.

Sounds like you have had an interesting life ... long may it continue.
