    Something is seriously wrong, humans.

Why is it so, well as Julius Sumner Miller would tell you, the human brain is not controlled by mathematical constants. It both thinks in finite terms and absolute terms at the same time and world builds to accomodate the self, the selfish ego. One can't live in a mental construct world that is wrong, at odds with its own beliefs, so it must substantiate itself by accusing others of being wrong and thus fortifying its own house of cards. This is the paradox of self, finite / infinite, self / tribal, gregarious dependant self. Many people become dependant on needs that remove them from reason and logic because we can all live without truth but we can't live without the tribe. Religion has no edges like science in the sense that its truth can only be relative truths and so it is prone to error. We must fortify the thinking of the individual. Julius didn't say any of that rubbish. He stuck with reality, science and left religion for those who had no time for reason and logic.

Religions contradict each other because points of contradiction are actively sort by the leaders of each sect, cult, religion, because they function as tribes. Whereas science binds us to facts, like it or not. Science takes no prisoners. It works in fields bound by mathematical constants, fixed natural law, fixed forces, etc. If you fudge or tell lies in science you will eventually get your ass handed to you on a plate. Even Noble Laureates get taken down when hubris gets the better of them.

Religion is abstract, esoteric, beyond empirical constants, just like our every-day lives that are subject to all sorts of uncontrollable possibilities. It relies on humans to get and live by the primary, fundamental principles that are found in every religion, that love of ones fellow humans trumps all religious law. That unity trumps disunity and if a religion seems to be telling you that you must contradict, defame, ridicule or think your religion is better than others, then you can be 100% certain you've completely missed the point and you have failed your religion.
