Below link is an article in the Australian its paywalled so here's some excerpts.

Chinese-controlled infrastructure company Jemena says an $800 million pipeline it is building to connect the Northern Territory gas market with the east coast is part of a much bigger plan, with Gladstone’s three LNG plants set to drive more demand than many were expecting and likely to struggle to source reasonably priced gas.

"This (Jemena's pipeline) is the first step of a much larger picture and we’re keen to see more incentives for upstream developers to get on and develop gas, which would enable us to make an expansion of the pipeline, or even an extension of it down into the big demand centres of Curtis Island,” Mr Boey said. The possible extension would be from Mt Isa to the Wallumbilla hub.

Mr Boey said the threat of a NT fracking ban was not forcing a rethink of the project, with potential conventional resources that didn’t need fracking also available.  But it was not helping.
