Like you I have been a sceptic, but more so.

That paragraph from the JJ facebook page reproduces - word for word - what GCN announced to ASX on 8th Nov.

But if you go to GCN's home page at

www.goconnect.com.au

you will read that the event is to happen in Australia, not in China.

Confusing? Yes. It seems the Australian search failed with no evidence that anybody did anything to move it along. For example, I registered for the newsletter at

www.jj5tv.com/email.html

I never got anything back.

Not only did the Australian search fail, but GCN can't even be bothered to get off its backside and change the wording from Australia to China on its various flagship webpages - see also www.uctv.fm and www.soundcheck.com.au.

What's the particular relevance of SoundCheck?

Heaven help us, but the GCN announcement of 8th November boasts: “'JJ5 China' is powered by ASX listed GoConnect's Soundcheck Music Competition technology platform."

Yet GCN's SoundCheck's webpage states the competition is still in Australia.

This carelessness is inexplicable and inspires no confidence in the future.

So as for the Chinese search, I'll start to think the competition may be serious when I see any evidence that something has happened. Maybe I'll even buy back my GCN shares.
