"Some in the groups shouted slogans that included "Death to Arabs" and "Gaza is a cemetery".Israeli and Arab journalists were also kicked and attacked and some required medical treatment."

the battle for Gaza is not just a military action, its a Culture War just like everywhere else.

the Jews of Israel are as divided as Americans with their political duopoly. I don't know real numbers, both sides deliberately manipulate numbers of all sorts; none are accurate.

but from my position there remain many questions as to how the Hamas incursion was "allowed" to happen, particularly the small number of people guarding the fence around Gaza and the ignoring of warnings from observers along the fence in the weeks before the incursion.

until these questions are resolved, Israel looks like the true aggressor, and these young louts confirm the brutal arrogance of their ilk.
