@Parsifal; I'm familiar with Mt Scopus College having spent time there on several occasions. In Victoria it's well-known for its focus on well-connected and highly aspirational Jewish students.
During my university days I lived next to and worked part-time jobs with enterprising Jewish shop-owners throughout Melbourne's central city area - the owner / manager of the bakery I worked for was Jewish [I could recount many linked stories about the late 1960s and early 1970s].
It is distressing to see graffiti like that.
Expecting it to vaporise because political leaders are bombastically labelling / defaming any and every protest against the slaughter of Palestinian civilians by Netanyahu's Regime is dead certain to provoke counter-reactions.
