They could have continued to live in Europe, the USA, Russia and even in Palestine etc... as many of them still do. But had no right, to displace the Palestinians at gun point, from their homes, with support from the west. And the treatment of of the Palestinians, who are still living under occupation, as evidenced in the links.
Many of them still until now, living in peace, Syria, Lebanon and don't know where else in the Arab world.
