Having worked over there, Brazil beats to its own drum; each and every approval takes far longer than you think.
If you can be bothered going back through their ASX announcements, take a look at Karoon Energy ( KAR ) as a case in point.
KAR went through a torturous time getting approvals to purchase an asset; from memory they lost more than a year in the process.
I certainly hope its nothing like that for JRV, but....Brazil is Brazil.
