Good reason - everyone is doing it. Many government jobs in centre of city. What if govt depts relocate to the burbs as often happens in Perth. Think Treasury is the next one in the governments sights.

Most small businesses are out in the suburbs. Many work from home. Tradies don't need to be near the city. Many businesses in the suburbs run by locals. This business of living in a vibrant city is just a beat up and cop out to get in on the real life as it has been for millenia. Perth after 5pm to get a meal leaves you massive junk food choice while you dodge the graffiti wielding ferals.

Oh yes married for such a long time . When the babies come along , what then?
